It probably does not matter. In a few more days, the rift will be opened. There are supplies that have almost certainly been stolen from merchant caravans and the like, as well as predictably filthy bedding. There are also several shackles that have been embedded in the cave's walls. But there is nobody here, kobold or captive. Comparing the living space with the amount of kobolds you've encountered over the last few days, you would guess that you have slain nearly all the previous occupants of this cave.</p><p></p><p>There are also slightly superior living quarters, where you would guess the Emissary slept. In addition to better bedding than wet straw, there is also a locked chest.</p><p></p><p>ooc: The chest can be opened with a small silver key or a DC 15 Thievery check.</p><p>[sblock=If you open the chest]There are a number of valuables here.
