When she feels the strange presence, a look of curious recognition consumes her visage. She reaches inside and pulls out a palm-sized, crystal sphere. She holds it away from herself at arms-length, as a child might when holding a foreign creature, and lets it roll out of her hand and onto the floor.</p></blockquote><p></p>
