The latest "IN" thing with 3E......

First it was feats, second it was Prestige Classes and now it is critter templates, what is the next "in" thing do you think?

Good thing is, we will soon be able to make absolutely any kind of critter imaginable through the use of templates (just waiting for the Ultimate Book of Templates from Mongoose). Bad thing is, some books get too carried away with whatever the current "in" thing is.

Race sourcebooks seem to be a big thing right now.

I'd like to see a wave of new campaign settings.

I wouldn't mind books on cultures and rules for those.

Like a book detailing Native American cultures. Give rules for the weapons and tactics they use. Some history and cultural beliefs. Don't tie them down to a specific campaign world or setting. Just offer suggestions on how to fit them into an existing world.

Well there is the Book of Templates, a pretty good collection of them. Monsternomicon has a small collection of new templates in the back, they smaller and easier to use then most templates.

Persoanlly, I'd like to see alterations to the base system. Let's see more alternatives that kill the sacred cows.
