The book is extremely portable, it's a little bigger than most D&D books but not quite as big as our campaign setting book....   just kidding. The city could be fit anywhere on your game world that you could place say... Venice (Italy not California). While there are some specific religions dealt with from the Twin Crowns setting, you could substitute Gods with similar profiles from other settings or heck just add ours to yours.
