Why in the world is there a Drow on the front? I may just have totally missed it but I don't think so. Me and my hubby have looked all through the magazine and can't figure out why there is a Drow elf on the cover. I was really excited to because my campaign I currently run involves Drow elves and I was hopeing for a new resource. Can anybody explain this to me or please reference in the magazine where I'd find the drow...part....?​

We asked for a "monster hunter" with lots of monster bits as trophies. We received that, but with a drow guy instead of a human. We shrugged, said "ok," and that's how it happened.

Just a quick perusal of the past few hundred issues of Dragon would show you that the cover art isn't neccessarily related to the mag's content- though most of the ones that are from the era of 3.x.

IOW, I think Vocenoctum got it right.
