During exploration, Brook, Falcon, and River discover edible tubers, not enough to trade but they make an excellent addition to the fish and small game that Jade continues to provide and cook. They are also able to collect eight measures of Stimulation and two measures of Mend Leaf. Jay discovers another four Lodestones, four Milkstones, 28 ingots of Iron and 2 ingots of Zinc.</p><p></p><p>River travels with Parakeet, intending to help her with the hunting, when he also gathers his agrarian finds. The two are able to collect eight more lacquered beetles, and either a viscacha or miniature goat each day, greatly increasing the food supply and enjoyment of the meals. The goats also provide a total of 60% coverage of light leather. Unexpectedly, River comes upon a party of other youths, though these are well known to be of the violent variety, called Deviards.
