Basically the mayrin are mayfly-like humanoids that are extremely secretive and in complete harmony with their enviroment. All mayrin (except for a special 10 percent of the total pop. which have life spans of a couple thousand years) live only three weeks, and they consider it a great honor to be eaten at the end of their life span (it continues the cycle of nature). Mayrin: Medium size monstrous humanoid HD: 1D8-1 (3HP) Init: +1 AC: 12 (+1 Nat, +1 Dex) Movement: 20ft fly 10 ft (avg) Face/Reach: 5ft by 5ft/5ft Attacks: Dagger +0 meele (1D4 damage) Stats: Str: 10 Dex:12 Con: 8 Int: 10 Wis: 12 Chr: 8 Special attack: None Special qualities: Racial traits Orginazation: Solitary, group ( 2-5), or village ( 15-25 with 3 1st-3rd level druids) AL: Usually Neutral Racial traits (Ex): All Mayrin except for 10% of the total pop live for only 3 weeks, although they have adult intelligence when born. Mayrin get a -2 penalty to constitution and charisma, being not only ugly and frail, but also obssessed with the "natural order of things" which tends to alienate people. However, due to their inate grace and insight, they get a +2 bonus to both wisdom and dexterity. Any Mayrin, may also as a spell like ability, cast entangle once per day as a first level druid (save DC 12).
