Message: <blockquote data-quote="DarkCrisis" data-source="post: 9536510" data-attributes="member: 1788">Hiring a new Arcane and Divine caster hirelings and a new Scholar follower the group decided to check out the east side of the valley wall and maybe find the Arena.Passing some cavemen who are fishing they proceed up broken stairs eventually find 2 cave entrances.  The closest one unfortunately houses a Mountain Lion which the Druid quickly befriends.The other cave is 75 feet up.  So after some climbing the group comes face to face with some cultists which they quickly dispatch.  Also a bucket/pully system to get people up and down the wall easier.They proceed into the caves and find most of the ground covered in slick moss. …. And giant beetles!  They attack but the beetles are to strong and the heroes flee after a quick Entangle from the Druid.They head down some slides and soon find a room with a golden throne and a pair of flesh golem guards. They decide to attack!This also goes poorly for them and they again flee.  Having blown all their magic and HP they decide to head back to the Inn and regroup.So basically they skipped to level 4 of the dungeon and that was to much for them.Maybe they will finally start at the top and work down?  Doubtful.Current Party:ThiefDragonbornDruidRangerManhoff the Mage HirelingNora the Acolyte HirelingCranston the Scholar Follower</blockquote>
