Set out once again from town the group decides to investigate the topside near the pond. They start searching a ruin and find a few gold and an ivory statue of a dragon and some Rot Grubs. Which luckily, they deal with quickly thanks to lit torches. As they are inspecting that statue the resident chromatic dragon lands near by and says "Ah you found my statue." "Indeed sir here you go!" says the Dragonborn "You are most kind. Here have whats left of this foolish adventurer." And he scrapes hit foot on a rock which dislodges the squished remains of a humanoid." He flies off with hsi statue. On the dead body they find a magic cloak that hides you when in caverns and 4 magic arrows. Off they search more structures finding nothing intersting aside from some angry Stirges. Coming neat the dam of the pond thats overflowed and made swamp land around it they decide to lower the dam and empty the pond and see whats what. Nearby are the wheels that lower the dam which they use and the pond empties down the waterfall dislodging several crocodiles which get angry and attack the party. The Ranger and the Acolyte almost die but they win the day. Unfortunately, the dragon flies back down and asks "Why have you emptied my swamp?" "Just seeing whats at the bottom, looks like a sunken ship, sir. We will close the dam once we are done. Promise." "Go search it and bring me what you find. I will decide if you keep anything." "Yes, sir." They search the wreck and find chests of gold and silver and a magic sword and wand. And several more keys. They quickly discuss if they should try to sneak stuff out past the dragon but decide that might not be healthy and take it all out to the dragon. "Ah gold and silver. My favorite. I have no need to weapons. Keep the sword and wand." He scoops up the treasure and flies off. The group now has a Trollbane sword and a wand of paralyze. Nearby the also find a staircase down down down into the depths of the dungeon. "Last time we did that we got our butts kicked. Lets just keep it in mind for later. The re-seal the door and close the dam. Tired from a full day they head back to town.
