A buddy just got a puppy...half Great Pyrenees, half Blue Heeler. Floppy ears, piercing blue eyes, and a medium-length white coat with black spots.

It is almost as big as my 6 year old Border Collie...

The first dog I had was a Great Pyrenees. I would ride around on his back like a horse. Nice dogs (and incredibly protective of children) except they bark like crazy and never mind.

I once met one who, his owner claimed, was the largest in the southern hemisphere. He might be right. It was huge.

That's an adorable puppy! But then, from my point of view adorable = puppy.

I wonder if my friend's husky/Chow mix could complete with the Pyrenees? He's certainly enormous - and he's only about 9 months old!!!

Something I accidentally left out- that Half Blue/Half Pyrenees is just shy of 4 months old and as big as my 6yr old Border Collie.

Since my BC is about 45lbs, I'm guessing the mixed puppy is going to be between 80-100 lbs when she's finished growing. This time, I've managed to attach a picture of the cute little mutt.
