The Ranger might be able to take certain feats instead of two-weapon fighting and ambidexterity. He might be able to take certain abilities instead of spell-casting. The Paladin might be done up as a prestige class. The Monk might get a selection of supernatural abilities to choose from at each level, instead of being locked into a defined set. Clerics of certain gods might get reduced combat abilities for improved skills. More divine powers to choose from for Clerics and Paladins, instead of Turn Undead and Remove Disease.I know, a lot of this has been done with d20 books and supplements. But there is definitely still a place for a book like this, and by allowing all the original options, it does not invalidate the core rules in any way.</blockquote>
