Treasure: None CR: 25 Alignment: Always neutral evil Gigan is a bizarre, bestial kaiju with some construct-like augmentations. Gigan resembles few species known to man. It is a teal, somewhat avian biped standing about 150 feet tall, with a long bladed tail and thickly muscled limbs. The forearms, from the elbow on, are massive ivory claws, and the feet end in a similar, albeit smaller, claw. The jaw is unusual, containing both an avian beak and insect-like mandibles. Gigan is the possession and chief weapon of the Nebulans, a race of cockroach-like humanoids intent on conquering humanity. It is believed that they enhanced Gigan’s abilities and gave him mechanical augmentations. Circumstantial evidence suggests that Gigan is not unique; it is possible that he is instead a member of an entire species of avian monsters. Combat Gigan’s chief advantage lies in his powerful grappling. When in combat with something too large to be ignored, he generally grabs it and tears it apart with his claws, bite and buzzsaw. Against more distant opponents, he uses his crimson ray before closing. Crimson Ray (Su): Once every 1d4 rounds, Gigan can shoot an fiery red ray out of his forehead. This ray has a range of 300 feet (no range increment) and deals 7d6 points of fire damage and 6d6 points of force damage if it hits.
