I can tell you, just on table counts and players playing (not finances) that without a doubt, PF1E eclipsed 4E all the way till 5E came out. Around 2015 we started noticing, across several US regions NE, MW, SE that 5E was catching up and in some places surpassing PF1E, by 2017 5E overtook PF1E OP tables in most spaces.The same thing occurred in many FLGS that ran games.</blockquote>
