But one great benefit is that it pushed a lot of third-party publishers to push out their own systems. I'm excited to see some non d20 systems get some real tracking. MCDM's current Kickstarter is amazing to watch. Darington Press is putting out new systems that are getting a lot of support. And a lot of these are younger gamers who came into the game with the 5e boom. As they try and hopefully enjoy these new systems that they are trying as fans of influencers like Matt Mercer and Matt Coleville, it will hopefully help them spread out and try even more systems. This may have all happened anyway, but I certainly think that the OGL help put a fire under third-party publishers and accelerated the process.</blockquote>
