[QUOTE="Blackwarder, post: 5933535, member: 6688285"] This is how it went in our last session, the ogre charged in right after three of the goblins that bribed him, the three goblins charged the thief and the wizard while the two clerics and the fighter were busy holding off the goblin patrol plus another three goblins on the other side of the junction. The thief climbed op the wall and launched him self at the ogre landing on the ogre back a few seconds after the fighter charged the ogre and got a tree trunk to the head for his troubles, next the wizard wanted to use ray of frost on the club so that the ogre will drop it, he rolled 1, usually when some one roll a 1 I tell them to roll 1d6 to see what happen, depending on the situation I usually give a 33% chance that it would be a regular miss and the rest is dependant on the scene, this time I told the wizard to roll 1d8 and that on a 1 he hit the halfing thief instead... He rolled a 1 :erm: The cleric of Pelor tried to use searing light and missed, but the thief (after thawing) back stabbed the ogre and continued to borrow his dagger in the wound the next round. All in all the ogre only attacked twice before the party fled ( with 6 goblins dead out of 12) mainly because the ogre spent some time trying to get the thief off (Dex contest) and the fact that after three rounds the party decided to run for it.
