(The ki-rin painfully brutalizes the clouds; blocks the energy of the reptile!) OOC: What's with me and reptiles? Can't I at least get a turtle? Oh well. With a series of short couplets and bad haikus, the Poet attempts to ward off the Jester's attacks long enough to compose a truly devistating attack. At last, when a pause in the action allows, he stands firm and chants: In legands lost the Ki-Rin flies Amidst the clouds of a broken dream Now called to battle the critter cries For brutal blood to spill 'pon those I deem. But to futher mold the forces I've unlocked, Reptilian energy shall again be blocked. Formed out of the swirling mist of the surroundings, a strange creature comes into being. While Jester is looking the other way, it leaps towards his back, claws outstreached. It seems to be constructed of solid light, almost a phantom, but the hunger in its eyes speaks of knowledge that it can rend flesh to sate its hunger.
