I will try to clean it up a little in the next day or two all though i'm not sure I actually understood some of your formatting suggestions... :-) Yes, I am big on having reasons to continue a class. Some people complain about Prestige Classes being overused, but to me the problem is many core classes dont have much reason to go past the early or mid levels. Although I honestly am not totally happy with the fact that they get no class abilities between levels 11 and 20, but we cant have everything. The armor is there for a couple reasons. One is just general durability, and the fact that since they dont have to devote that much time to studying their magic, they can learn a bit more about combat, weapons and armor etc. Also, along with the D6 and certain spells it allowed any Priest to dip into a physical fight a little if someone wants to, but without stepping on any other classes, if the player should be inclined to do so. I wanted a touch of that even if you dont take War or Strength as primary. Adding some more armor to Protection might not be a bad idea. Yes, I have seen the Cloistered Cleric (I own UA). Its nice, and way more balanced the the regular Cleric, but only really fits knowledge based religions. So, any other balance comments? Domain ideas, suggestions what have you?
