The problem with Sinstra (Game post)

You have arrived at the village of sinstra, having already passed through the yecew river. As you approach the gate, one of the guards, whom looks to be an experienced swordsman, a musclear man who could be considered handsome, atleast, that's without the malicious smirk that you see flash across his face the second he sees you " What buisness have you in the fine city of Sinstra?" and his comrade, a short, slightly fat man wielding a trident, as if by cue, let's out a small laugh.

Krug looks at his other companions, then steps forward. "An ale house, some good meat, and perhaps a bit of work for us."

Enter: Killian Maxwell

A rugged-looking human with full beard and nasty-looking spiked chain burls up to the gates, notices Krug and brightens up noticeably.

He lets the chain fall from around his shoulders, walks up to Krug with a big combat-vet hug, "Aye, Krug!
Ye dam-ned fool - they haven't killed ye off yet?

Looks like Sinstra's in fer it, if both of us're in town, eh? ;)

I wondered whare you'd gone off to, after that fiasco in the forest with tha gobbos.
We didna' get paid fer that job, so I's had ta take work down tha way fer a bit - I'm in town now lookin' fer another job - and you?"

Killian catches the eye of the guard(s), and with a knowing wink, says "So whare d'ya think some action might be had in yer fine town, lads?

Purely spiritual action, praise tha Lord!"
he finishes with a pantomime of a holy gesture that's so obviously out-of-place, the guards would know he's not looking for that kind of spiritual action. ;)

Enter Unaer Yelloweye

The Elf detached himself from along the city wall near the Gate, seemingly unnoticed by the Guards and steps forward to the others gathered there.
'Aye, are ye the Krug that drank an entire pony-keg of Bullin's Dark at the Inn of the Sultry Siren last month? I have heard that you even asked for a biscuit after to "soak up the excess, so'as not to be too drunk to walk home." That wouldn't be you, would it?'
The elf stood near 6 feet, with an extremely muscular physique (by elf, or even human standards). A most odd looking Elf, more odd still was that his eyes were a pale yellow, tinged with brown; not unlike the coloring of a Tiger's Eye gemstone.
Addressed to the 2 before him (or the entire group once posted, whichever is easier for you, Oren)
'I am Unaer (Oo-nay-ear) of the House Jade Fist from the South. Who might you fine fellows be, that I might share an ale after such a long walk with friends instead of strangers...'
Unaer ignores the Guards for the moment, concentrating instead on the other travellers.

Ashan smirks at Unaer. "Gods, are you always this longwinded? Well, for what it's worth, I'm Ashan Asarath." The smirk could be a smile, and he might be teasing Unaer, but it's not clear. As a matter of fact, it's distinctively unclear, and giving it more thought only makes matters worse. The last bit, his introduction, seems to be addressed to the group, but he says it as he stares at the ironwork of the gate. He hasn't even so much as nodded at the guards or even acknowledged their existence.

[OOC — Edit — reaper took care of it. Don't know why I didn't do it myself instead of asking about it. I'm a dork. :p Sorry about that...]

"Merwen Anoarn. Time's blessing, gentlemen. Shall we proceed to the gate? I for one am eager to see what business this fine Sinstra may offer." (This with the merest hint of a bow to the guards - courteous or ironic? Hard to tell.)

"Killian! Aye... that affair with the gobbos... I thought I'd never see you again! I be looking for work... my ale money is running dry... again," the dwarf says.

For Unaer's questions, Krug says "Aye... that probably be me! And I'd do it again in a minute!"

Gregory, currently going under the name Coop of Nyrond, rolls his eyes and sighs at the bad manners of his travelling companions and turns to the gaurds, his face now in a pleasent smile. Behind him, the dwarf Krug bragged of his imbibing ability.

"Good day, Captain," he says over Krug, giving the gaurdsman a title proboably far above his actual station as a form of flattery. "Pardon them, please. Suffice to say, we're travellers looking for a place to stay the night and some honest work if it's to be had. May we go through?" He smiled a winning smile.

(Diplomacy check 15+4=19)

"There is no work in Sinstra, only slaves work." the first guard says. "But we'll let you in" he says, looking at Krug's muscluar arms, "more slaves are dying everyday, so we need replacements"
