I have noticed this as well. I did recruit about 10 players to T13K and found a DM who has said she will be starting up a new campaign in Argossea. I am somewhat hesitant to go out and actively recruit more players without a FIRM knowledge that adventures are waiting for them. I am running my campaign, and that is all that I have time for. Ideally, there would be a minimum of 13 campaigns in progress at any time. My suggestions: 1. Recruit DM's. Go to OpenRPG and open up a room on a busy server. I usually go to Better Games Public Server, OpenRPG Dev II or OpenRPG Dev III. Name your room "Recruiting DM's", or, "Recruiting Players" or some other thing to let the people in the lobby that are browsing that you are looking for someone. Have a graphic made up in the map section that is actually text describing what you are recruiting and why. Begin answering questions. This would work well with 2 CM's/DM's at a time in the room to handle discussions. 2. Help the DM's get a campaign background set and some adventures lined up. 3. Post a number of adventures/campaigns in the Questing for Adventure thread. 4. Recruit players in the same manner as #1. If people check us out and find adventures waiting for players they will stay. As a side note, our misfortune with the home site has certainly hurt us. The pranks of the adolescents of the world cannot deter those who are of a strong will to accomplish their goals. I will start a new thread for people to sign up for recruiting new DM's in the above method. This will allow us to be organized and hopefully have someone present each night of the week and at differing times. Esse Quam Videre - To be rather than to seem.
