Joe, I realize this may qualify as slightly off topic...

But does that mean Expeditious Retreat Press is going away? :(

Nope! :)

Not only have I just bought two tickets to India for Nov 10th, I've also bought two new laptops with 17inch screens..... drool....

We'll be out of commision only briefly, but our product flow will continue and we'll soon be up and producing more material. I don't expect to be out of production for more than two weeks, so no big deal.

And then, we can say we're the biggest RPG publisher on the Sub-Continent! :)

Much cool. I feel better. :)

I can't even imagine the logistical difficulties of what you're trying to do, but I'm glad you're doing it.

wow. that's way cool =)
Bangalore is about as english friendly and modern as india gets, so you shouldn't be too offput. And your older post says you've been there before, so beggars and diseases and things aren't that big a deal either. Looks like you've got an awesome thing going for ya =)
it wouldnt hurt to learn a little Hindi or Tamil, though you might be better off learning the dominant language of the region, Kannada.

Maybe i should send my Upanishads d20 proposal to yall once you get set up in the motherland =)

We're actually going to go to Shimla in the Himalayas first for about a year. Then we may head south to Bangalore.

Heh, we're going to work on an India supplement while we're there.. :)

It's not really that hard. Once you decide that you can only really have what you can carry (or what you can hire a porter to carry :)) things actually become easier.

We're glad we're doing it too. We're young and nows the time to be mobile if that's what you want to do.

ahh. my bad, i didnt see that part of the post =)

Wow, Shimla, huh? That's way north. Be careful though, as a lot of the kashmiri violence has a tendancy to spill into Himachal Pradesh. Same with the Punjabi separatist movements. Nonetheless, it's still hella cool what yall are doing. Be sure to see as much of india as you can while you are there. Or at least try to hit the non touristy hotspots and experience the real nation =)

A supplement for India would be nice.

Seconded. It's a part of the world with a rich history and mythology which is more or less completely unknown to the West, and which receives too little treatment in fiction. Gimme some Mahabharata D20.
