All I can say is that us Israelies are pretty inventive... :) BTW, if you consider the routine for breaking into a room (as seen, approximately at least, at any SWAT or cop TV show) you'll notice the advantage of looking in around corners. This applies even more to urban fighting, where you can scan the street before entering it. That said, the rifle will not make thse operations risk-free, only slightly easier, and I am concerned it will be more difficult to fire in a "normal" manner. (The swivel may be a problem when all you want to do is point and shoot.) So I am not certain of its overall benefit. Also, unique weapons mean unique maintainance requirements, so this weapon is not likely to be used except by special forces. It's just too costly. As for the bulldozers - since this sways heavily into politics, I won't go there on these boards. I will only say that I don't expect this, or for this matter almost any, technology will change what is essentially a political conflict. And as for Nautilus - it is actually rather well known in Israel. We have been waiting for it for quite some time. I'm glad it is apparently being developed; my understanding is that it is relatively close to being operational. Yair - Israeli and proud of it.
