I will point out that narcissists are very weak-minded people. They are insecure. So when they are called out on their stuff, they do their best to hide it, because they are ashamed of themselves and what they've done but can't confront their own self, so they try to ignore it or discharge it onto other people. This makes them effective manipulators in person, and leads them to often finding career-oriented success if they recieve a good education or have raw talent. Sadly, their narcissism, their insecurity, will eventually cause them to crash out. And the worst part it, it isn't ever that deep. The CEO of Evil Genius could have, in theory, spent a year trying to restore his reputation by changing as a person. Instead, he doubles down and tries to hide it. This is what I mean by weak-minded. They hide from the hard work necessary to fix crucial aspects of themselves because they just don't want to admit that they're flawed. If you ever read this, Scott, you literally just need to start caring about people and try to seem authentic. Actually show remorse, analyze why people don't like you or your company, and move on from there. Work on yourself. It's hard but you're a smart guy. Love your company's work. Such a shame to see someone with talent spinning their wheels in the mud because they can't admit they can't drive.
