Now get movin’!” He wanders purposefully toward the front of the caravan, but pauses briefly to kick and scold another sleeping traveler.</span></span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">“Worry not about Old Hard Helm, ‘tis just his way.” The words of encouragement come from your cart’s guardian, the giant man known as Skeld. As he speaks, he bends down and helps you and your cart mates up. “I hear tell today should be a quiet one. The orcs are nowhere to be found, and the skies are clear of dragons. Take a few minutes to gather your things. I must tend to my rothé before we leave.” Skeld walks past the cart, and over to a heard of large animals resembling musk oxen with thick, shaggy, snow white coats.</span></span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">This morning has been the coldest of the journey since you left Everlund eleven days ago. Large gray thunderclouds loom to the east, and they will likely be upon you by day’s end. Just as you were about to turn your attention back to packing up your effects, you caught a glimpse of something in the sky. Squinting your eyes, you can barely make out what appears to be three large birds…but something about them is wrong…their tails are much too long…</span></span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><span style="font-size: 12px">Harnelm shouts back at you from the front of the caravan, “What in the Nine Hells are you all staring at? They’re just thunderclouds and if we don’t get our arses moving…” His ranting stops as the guard captain Marnok grabs his shoulder and points to the three shapes moving ever closer. Marnok unsheathes his sword and begins barking orders at the guards. Harnelm turns toward the caravans and yells “All who are able, grab yer weapon and seek cover! Dragons’re comin’!”</span></span></p></blockquote><p></p>
