[QUOTE="UniversalMonster, post: 743341, member: 1034"] Ram-Tet takes the painting back after everyone has had a chance to look at it. "The Scarab is really just a toy. You'll be bringing it back here to the museum for a display we're planning. Inside, however, is a gem encoded with an utterly simple spell that records sound. In this case, it was the young emperor's nursemaid singing that lullaby." "The gem- might be worth 1000 in gold if you were lucky. " Ram-Tet smiles. "But because of the unique nature of that song, and the .. ah..desperate generosity of our client, I am offering 10,000 gold. This bounty to be divided evenly amongst your group, for the recovery of the Scarab and the gem inside. Intact. Be careful. It's quite old." "Now, listen carefully. Hautama is located on the Prime, in a largely forgotten desert. I've managed to dredge up some maps and a general description of the location where you'll find our prize. Portals are going to be a problem. The nearest one puts you a few days travel across the desert to the palace ruins where I believe the Scarab is located. That's the arrival portal." Ram-Tet gathers up some more maps and scrolls. "Please follow me." The old githzerai sweeps past you and steps outside, where one of the armored nuns is already holding a tattered parasol for him. He points to the dull grey sky. The wind and rain picks up, and thunder breaks suddenly. Ram Tet is forced to shout to be heard. "The best departure portal is up there. The Dodecahedron Gate!"
