The Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde - Who's right?

First Post
According to Amazon.com, we have a pretty basic follow-up to Scourge of the Howling Horde : 32-page paperback, advice for new DMs, etc.

According to the WotC site, it's a "launchpad" for a new campaign, taking characters from Level 1 to 7 and including 2 64-page book, a player's guide, maps, etc.

That close to a release date, it's odd that Amazon is so off the truth. Anyone has any additional info about this upcoming module?

As far as I know the Wizards info is the correct info. I would definitely believe Wizards them over Amazon, especially since they are the ones releasing the product.

Still more confusion, this is from Dragon #350 : "...a low-level companion to Scourge of the Howling Horde... David Noonan says he created this adventure for a DM who wants to get up and running quickly..."

I browsed through Scourge of the Howling Horde at my local game store and was extremely disappointed. There are beginner DMs out there who will benefit from the many advices in it but as soon as you have a few games under your belt, a lot of the text becomes useless. Add to this the fact that all creatures are drawn straight from the Monster Manual and you get a somewhat boring adventure when compared to the recent releases.

I'm delaying the start of the Savage Tide because I think this has the potential to be better according to the D&D Products page (Which makes no mention whatsoever to Scourge) but the looming of it being a DM school makes me wonder.
