7 Successes (0 Hard DC Available)/1 Failures/2 Secondary Skills Available/0 Advantages Available

The stone structures of the caravanserai west of Bantouk loom before you. The small sprawl of Chomrok, its support structures, the olive tree groves and the terraced vineyards are an oasis for weary travelers either looking to make the final push to Bantouk or those from Bantouk looking to disappear in the hinterlands. Its strategic location, fertility (of commerce and land alike) and beautiful vistas given the sweeping and subtle elevation has attracted permanent settlers and farmers to build up around the location. Unfortunately, the same luxuries that afford reprieve afford opportunity...for the worst of sorts. Those "worst of sorts" have taken flight behind you; "The Dactyleers." Flying reptile riders are the primary birds-of-prey and carrion-eaters out here. The abyssal bloodlines of their gnoll riders means that death is virtually never a mercy; eaten alive slowly or toyed with while baked in the scorching sun until succumbing is typical when a poor soul is targeted as a meal. The group on the mighty wyvern is now such a target. The beast is tired. It is not used to such an arduous and lengthy flight these days. The flock (6) of "vandal-vultures" keep their distance from the mighty beast and its tasty passengers nonetheless. But they are crack javelinists and even at a distance they can place a few key rigging-compromising strikes to send your "airship" earthward...

MEDIUM DC (FTW)
