Hitherto Strategos Farbad's warning, ARUNNY has been following along, giving Maba's blessings of protection and vigor to those along the way. However, at his words, the priestess stops suddenly in her tracks and looks up sharply, eyes flashing with a growing storm within. She then strides forward, her movement causing the Strategos and his squad to stumble back toward her fellow travelers, part from Ibhea who, ever watchful, follows closely in her footsteps. As she and her shadow pass through the ranks and around the corner, Omthala's Searing Voice begins to extend her arms outward, palms facing forward. Those she moves through can see her lips moving, but the distraction of the golden glow beginning to emanate from her exposed skin -- her face in particular -- keeps their focus on her transition into bright and shining Priestess of Goddesses and away from actually hearing her words. They do notice that her stride seems to grow in thunderous cacophony -- or so it appears. Everyone following her stumbles to a stop, fascinated and horrified anticipation in their expressions. Arunny immediately recognizes both figures heading toward her. Her eyes take in the living form of the priest she last saw as their undead assailant in the canyon months ago (to her reckoning) and the Nightwalker who had so recently assaulted the scrivener. Eztcoatl's snarling grimace reveals a lack of foreknowledge of her role in his future death. But the Nightwalker! There is surely recognition in that sneer! Theirs is not a meeting in the past -- hers and the Deathbearer. No, this is a subsequent meeting from that earlier encounter in the distant future. The Seer is momentarily swept into the dance of molecules disproving the passage of time as her eyes bore into those of the Nightwalker, waves of crackling energy sparking in the space between them. And yet Omthala's priestess continues her murmuring invocation -- albeit unheard by any around her: Omthala -- guide me on the Searing Path of the Scorching Sun -- into and through and surrounding the Lunar world of Shadowed Stars cloaked in the voluptuous Brilliance of the Night Sky. I shall receive and ignite the Fire of your Radiant Fury to punish the monstrous phantasms and beasts of Obscene Gods. Fill my dreams with the Sweet Delight of the Super Nova of your Blistering Judgment. Awaken the Serpent Fire within ALL your priests that we may enter the all-consuming embrace of the Infinity of the Triune Light -- Mother of all Light. As the priestess repeats and repeats her words, the cacophony of thunder grows in intensity, causing both of Nerull's present servitors to cease their forward motion, seeming to shrink back in fear.

Arunny expends her Daily Power Silent Malediction for an Autosuccess in the SC: You enter a trance as your lips move. Your enemies don’t hear what you’re saying because of the thunder rumbling around them. Daily Divine, Implement, Thunder Standard Action Close blast 3 Target: Each creature in the blast Attack: Wisdom vs. Fortitude Hit: 2d6 + Wisdom modifier thunder damage, and the target is stunned (save ends). Miss: Half damage, and the target is dazed until the end of your next turn. Effect: You are dazed until the end of your next turn. Additional Effects: Manifestation of Preservation (slide ally 1).
