If she had not just witnessed IBHEA's "trick" with his shade double performed in the plaza during the final throes of the duel with the Nightwalker, even Maba's Piercing Eye might have been fooled. (It was a "trick," right? Part of Ibhea, the part separate from whatever dark entity within had convinced the priest it was Delban, Himself, had not actually been slain, replaced entirely by that Other, yes? She yearns for certaintly on this matter.) But she had just borne witness, and little escapes the gaze of one illuminated by both Sunlight and Moonbeam. As for himself, Ibhea had found it a trifling matter to slip behind a column in shadow whilst the collective voice whispered its challenge, and from there to project his shade where once he stood, to absorb the inferno in his stead. No, if there is any "trick" involved, it is in timing his reappearance in the split second offered by the explosion of senses-confounding light and flame and their almost immediate exhaustion. While the one-time whisky priest performs this chicanery, a voice of doubt within chastens: "This could have been so easy. You need merely have shown them your figure transformed by the power of the black flames!" But he dismisses that voice, that urge to let the flames take him again, to burn.

First off, I'm wagering that last remaining Advantage for 2 Successes versus this newly-introduced Hard DC. As I imagine my fiction makes clear, I contemplated using Burning Transformation, my Daily Utility, for an autosuccess. That certainty of being able to demonstrate his role as Delban's Messenger is the Advantage here. But (a) where's the fun, the risk, the game in that? And (b) there is something to be said for a more subtle path right now, where dynamics, motives, and even personnel are undefined. With all that in mind, I'm using Mirror Darkly (Encounter) for a +2 power bonus and one of those remaining Secondary Skill uses, Stealth (+16 vs DC 16 Easy DC = autosuccess) for a further +2 bonus to Ibhea's Primary Skill Bluff (training already exhausted) check, r10 +17 (+22-5 training) +2 SS +2 Mirror Darkly = 31 vs ... checks target ... 31 Hard DC. 2 Successes. Woot! Exactly hits! This has all been written out and rolled sequentially, in real time, so that is one helluva wager to play to find out what happens!
