<sigh> Screwed that up... meant to place this: About the character: Plith is a scrubby gnome with nervous gray eyes and unkempt black hair. He is very sensitive to what his fellows think of him. He has been one of the clerics that led prayers before matches, which was always used as a perfectly reasonable excuse not to enter the arena when he could get away with it. Some might whisper about cowardice, but Plith has had his fair share of matches. He just understands the law of averages, and tries to keep out of harms way if he can avoid it. If a match seems unavoidable, Plith is known to enter a fray in an almost beserker fury, shouting a cry to his god, St Cuthbert. Plith comes from a loving, but typical family. His father called himself a hard working, blue-tunic gnome, although Plith never could figure out what that meant. He was an only child whose mother doted on him constantly. He repaid her kindly by complaining constantly so that she would feel compelled to dote on him some more. He figured this made her happy, so it was all for her benefit. When his parents died in a freak cart accident he decided it was time to do something with his life. He found a place in the clergy, which was to his liking since he sensed he was a natural. When in a foul temper he constantly complained about gnomes these days turning away from the gods. This made people uncomfortable and they tried to placate his temper in order to avoid the priest putting a bad word about them to the gods. This always put him in a better mood. When he was selected by his clan to go on this latest adventure he looked quite upset, despite the honor put upon him. One young gnome turned red and asked Plith whether or not he was honored. After Plith mumbled something that sounded like "Crap", but all agreed must have been "Yeap", he made it a point to lead his chosen group in prayer. "Oh St. Cuthbert, lead us to find retribution for our lost protector, Kranimatraxius the Wise! And let your fury fall upon those who would deny us this. Bless our mighty Tilcho, Malexander Titwillow, and Ellawyn, who will all so wisely place their own bodies in front of any danger while this faithful servant stands far behind."
