The Suffering... Excellent game, crappy ending... But still, even if you tore through it in 11 hours, it can still serve some use. First, if you can, use a TV In card to take snapshots of the maps provided (You should have plenty by the end) and the journal entries... Make sure the PC's are high level, and have them come in by ship... The reason? The recent records search by the Department of Defense (mainly over the disputed sections of presidental candidate's war records) uncovered a frightening fact... A 35 KT weapon was shipped to the military base on the island, and promptly forgotten about when the base was decommissioned... The PC's goal? Aquire it. Sure, they'll be at the docks, what's left of them, and Torque will have torn the hell out of certian sections, but whatever was going in, is still going on. Allow them to find the diaries in the town. They will QUICKLY run out of ammo they were packing (Use the impossible level amount of hits. Those things SOAK up the ammo) and have to scavenge just like crazy-ass Torque had to. We tried it for a one-shot, and the group loved it (Yeah, it was a blatant ripoff, so what?) Give it a shot, you might have fun.
