All but the foundation was gone, but a sturdy dam still spanned the Roars! The water over the dam was only ankle deep, so we used it as a bridge to get to the north bank and a dry place to make camp. That night we were attacked by a swarm of tiny vipers...I think they live in the swamp and swam the river to get us. We drove them off, but not before they filled our mage, Calamar, with venom. The next morning, we followed the "path", which was the old road to Fallon, back to the bridge over the Roars, and thence back here.
