I have to work all weekend and won't be able to post till Monday. For Vorgorth The startled guard struggles to regain his composure, “Umm..uh”. The guard shakes his head and quickly calms. "Sorry, I've seen people fly before, I just haven't had any of them land right next to me. Entrance to the stands is 8 silver pieces, to enter the competition it will cost 510 gold pieces or 10 gold pieces, depending on how much you value your life.” The guard then offers a quick description, “The coliseum is a huge complex; it has two entrance ways at its opposite ends. The path splits at a set of stairs (both entrances). One set leads to the lower area, the competitors’ section, the other leads to the stands. The competitors section has several rooms and storage areas that form a circle around the center, the “pit”, and there is a partial view of the pit through a fenced section. (If the pit floor is considered ground level (-), the competitors’ section (_) is at a halfway point between it and a sublevel ___}---- ) The stands are oval shaped and consist of twenty large rows with the “pit” in the center. The row closest to the pit is set about 4ft above it. Clerics “walk” (more like sit and wait) this section and heal between fights. The pit floor is stone but has a very thin layer of sand on top of it, easier to clean up blood and other fluids, just sweep it up and throw down some more. It has a wooden dome supported by a metal framework” For Paskatoy “I call them rogues good sir, because that is what they are. They loot any area they come through and hide their actions by bribes to those in power. I would run them through with this very blade, all of them, even if I were to die before my task was done.” The guard steps close but you still struggle to hear his whisper, “But as I said they have bribed those in power, including our good Lord Trenton and none of the locals may cross him.” A second guard approaches , “Shift change Elcon.” The first guard nods in response, “Good day, and fare well traveler,” then he quickly walks away. “Do you need to ask something more?” asks the second guard, a human (the one Sollir is talking to now or talks to later in Game Time.) OOC I'll be online around ten CST tonight, if anyone needs to ask me something< ICQ or My chatroom
