That's right, Wandering Guys and Gals! The grand prize in the latest Wandering Men contest is precisely that - an Ipod Shuffle! The world's smallest digital music player can be yours - 1 GB of glorious musical pleasure! Not only that, but the winner of this contest will also receive a beautiful "Triple F" T-shirt, and a full color, glossy 8x12 poster (literally suitable for framing) of ONE of the Skein of Shadows heroes of your choice!

So, what's the catch, you ask? What does one have to do to win such a fabulous and monumentally awesome prize? Sell one's soul? Nah. Give us one's firstborn to a small guy with a hard-to-pronounce name? Of course not! It's actually quite simple... One might say deceptively simple...

yeah ... it sounds like your DM is the problem. I would express the kind of game you enjoy, either privately or nicely with the whole group. Perhaps the DM would be willing to try a more traditional style. Alternately, you could suggest rotating DM'ing responsibilities. You could run an adventure or two and show them how it's done. Or, you could simply find another group. It depends really on how much you enjoy their company as people. For me, the game is secondary to hanging out with my closest friends. If these aren't people you'd want to hang out with anyway, build/find a different and better group.

Of course, it could always be the fault of narrow minded players - you know, the sorts of folks who judge books by the cover, and that sort of thing. Often times, just one rotten apple in a whole barrel of good, solid role-players can spoil everything.

All it takes is one voice of dissension to spoil things, ya know? ;)

But thanks for the input anyway - I will ponder it!
