Oh, I totally agree with that, med stud. My problem isn't with the Warlock class, to be clear, it's more the PREGEN Warlock that annoys me. I will apologize for one thing, though. I did forget about Warlock's Curse, gomen. That kicks up the damage significantly, although... the place on the enemy nearest to you makes it tricky for our window assassination scenario. Not impossible, but tricky. I take it back, there is a kernel of a good assassin there, but like I said, I'm itching to make one up that'll work better for my play style. I see what people mean about Warlock/Rogue types, Warlock's Curse + Sneak Attack (with combat advantage) on a daily attack... ouch. If a Path lets you do ranged arcane sneak attacks... bigger ouch. Pretty sure we're going to see alot of Tiefling Warlocks stacking Bloodhunt and Infernal Wrath with Prime Shot and Warlock's Curse. No wonder they mentioned it in the cartoon. Great, now I'm not sure what the source of my unease with the Pregen Warlock actually is now. Maybe Warlock's Curse seems a little fiddly... not bad but... it could make some situations needlessly tricky. Or maybe it's still the lower Charisma bonus and Stealth (more likely) when I sorta feel like the Warlock should be sneakier than the Wizard. -facefaults- Or maybe I just wanna make an Infernal pact with Glasya. :D
