[QUOTE="dwayne, post: 7320450, member: 25437"] I am posting this for feed back and to see if this is balanced or over powered or what have you please read and let me hear some feed back. Way of the Turtle The Monastic Tradition of the Turtle specializes in the use of the sea turtle shield in tandem with other monastic abilities. A Turtle disciplines themselves in the use of the shell, valuing the defense of others as a noble purpose. The best offense is a good defense. Shell Defence[edit] At level 3, You gain proficiency with the Turtle shield and are able to use it as a monk weapon without affecting unarmored defense, it is a finesse weapon that uses your martial arts dice for damage of the appropriate type of damage (bludgeoning for bash). You are able to use it in place of unarmed strikes and flurry of blows. Stubborn Title [edit] At level 3, you gain the advantage on checks and saves to resist being grappled, restrained, forcibly moved or knocked prone. You also gain the Protector Fighting Style. Shell bump[edit] At 6th level, You can use the turtle shield to shove a creature as a move action. If you are more than 10 feet you can charge a creature or person one size larger to one size smaller than your self. This is an attack action and if you hit then that person shoved to the ground you gain advantage on the roll due to you use your whole body behind the sheild. you also doulble your total damage modifer in this if you knock the creature prone other wise it is standerd damage. Attacks made with your shield are considered magical for purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity. shell shift [edit] At 11th level, you can spend 2 ki points as a bonus action to shift your shield around your self to protect against an incoming attack you are aware of. You can do this for one target who you are protecting within 5 feet doing so cost you 4 Ki points Be the turtle [edit] At level 17, while holding your Turtle shield, you gain resistance to all nonmagical damage, and you also gain temporary HP equal to your Monk Level + Wisdom modifier, after a short or long rest. Also, you may spend 8 Ki points and extend this abiltiy to one other person or creature of your size or smaller. [/QUOTE]
