The worm turns (in the Story hour)

I cast about in my head today for something to add to my collection of stories and remembered a short, simple thing I had written about ten to a dozen years before.

Not knowing in which box in my basement the original was stored, I rewrote it, and as I did so, I added some Cthulhu elements to it (which in this case was very easy to do.) It really is not much of a story, but it amuses me and maybe it will amuse you too. It is The Turning of the Worm.

Thanks for all those who have read what I have written these last couple of weeks and for the praise. It is very encouraging. Tomorrow and Wednesday I have a couple more (serious) ideas I plan on pounding out in my free time. When I have those done rest assured I will add them too.

Strangly enough, for any who care, I thought this the weakest of the four I have done recently but my wife liked it the best.

Of course she started staring at me strangely after reading The Elusive Mr. Teaholt...
