magic of theah
As far as I know, the Magic of Theah book isn't out yet, although the heroes and villains book is.
Thean magic is much more low-key than that of standard rpg worlds, and is tied to bloodlines of noble houses, thereby giving the nobility power to back up their inheritance of powere. To give you the basics:
Avalon: Glamour magic gives the user the ability to incarnate heroes from Avalon's past, granting bonuses to certain activities, or creating stuff from glamour.
Castille: No sorcery.
Eisen: Dracheneisen armour takes the place of sorcery.
Montaigne: Porte is a form of teleport, both objects and people. Its use does, however, rip apart the fabric of the universe...
Ussura: Pyeryem gives druid-style shapechanging, eventually to the point where the user need not change form to gain the abilities.
Vesten: Laerdom, rune magic.
Vodacce: Fate Witches possess Sorte, the ability to see and manipulate fate. Only women are Fate Witches.
