My take on the whole Highlander series, (of movies). Highlander 1 was great. I didn't see it in theaters, a friend noted it was on late night tv and we were all up late making balsa wood battleships with the intent to sink them the next day. Watched the movie and loved it. Highlander 2 comes out and I figured I liked the first, so I will go see it in the theaters. This was before I knew sequels rarely lived up to the first. So, I watched it, kinda enjoyed it, but thought it was too different from the first to be in the series. Highlander 3 comes out. Watched it in theaters again. It was ok, but very much a rip off of the first movie. With this movie made, you could watch Highlander 1, forget number 2 existed, then watch part 3 if you needed more immortal combat. Highlander 4 comes out. It has Adrian Paul in it, and the Watchers. I am reluctant to go and waste my time, but a friend talks me into it. Oh my Efffing god. After watching the 4th movie, I had to totally reevaluate my movie theory. That is to say, after watching the fourth movie, suddenly the second movie LOOKS GOOD! I will not be watching any remade Highlander stuff, I didn't even watch the Raven, though I might watch repeats of the Zeist based cartoon.
