At the foot of the piece of furniture sits a trunk with a weathered cloak tossed haphazardly atop it. In the closest corner a round table flanked by two chairs, and upon one of these chairs an old man sits. He's grizzled and war worn, his stark white hair is buzzed tightly to his scalp. He looks up from his book as you enter, a smile quickly spreading out on his lips. <span style="color: blue">"Vesta, these are our guests we've been awaiting?"</span> His daughter nods and he claps his hand excitedly. <span style="color: Blue">"Welcome, welcome!" </span> His blue eyes scan each individual. <span style="color: Blue">"Lessee.. you're easy, young lady." </span> He points to the only woman in the group. <span style="color: Blue">"Jayla. Brin's niece." </span> His eyes turn to Erik.<span style="color: Blue"> "And you, the holy man, you must be Eric's father, yes? Your son was one of the bravest men I have ever served with. I truly miss him, you must be proud." </span> Then his attention drifted to Vendan. <span style="color: Blue">"Volom's son, Vendan. He spoke of you. He always wished you would become a wizard."</span> Yun was the next he looked to.<span style="color: Blue"> "All most a spittin' image of your father. Welcome Yun!" </span> A large hand rubbed over his goatee as she looked Nairb and Serin over. These two he was having a problem placing. <span style="color: Blue">"I'm sorry sons, I'm not sure on whom you two are. I know that Richard was one of your fathers, but.. which one.. I don't know. Care to help an old man out?"</span> While her father makes impromptu introductions for everyone, Vesta receives the bowls of stew from Maridosen that has been lingering atop the stairs for some time. <span style="color: SeaGreen">"You may go.." </span> She urged the bar wench. Mari narrowed her eyes and then backed down the stairs. The bowls are handed out to those that didn't receive the gruel yet.</p></blockquote><p></p>
