In the Bazaar... "'I wish you luck,' she says..." Kadramis though to himself as he left the tents of Rechal. "Well, at least she didn't give me another sermon about the 'Mother of Chaos' returning to Sanctuary..." Kadramis walked with a purpose through the bazaar, not so fast as to attract attention but quick enough to make good time to the stable where he kept his horse, Hemphrit. The hayloft above the stall doubled as Kadramis' lodging in Sanctuary. "Alain!" he called out to the stable boy who soon came running from a corner of the stable. "Here," he flipped him a shaboozh. "I thank you for feeding my horse. I'll need you to take care of him for a few days more, I'm afraid." Kadramis looked at Hemphrit. A noble Rankan horse he was, dark brown with a black mane. Though healthy enough, unfortunately, he'd seen better days. The city was wearing on him, and like Kadramis he longed to run free in the plains and drink fresh water from unpolluted brooks. Hemphrit was a strong horse, though, and Alain had fed him fairly. Kadramis patted his muzzle gently and then ascended into the loft. Behind a pile of hay bales he retrieved his sack of belongings, which included another shirt, not much cleaner than the one he had on but at least unstained by wine. He quickly took off his armor and changed. "Alain, how about a hand up here?" Alain came up the ladder. "Where are you off to, Kadramis?" he asked. He wasn't nosey like some children, but did ask the ocassional question. "On a hunt... for men!" Kadramis answered with playful bravado in his voice. Alain did not seem impressed. "Help me on with the armor, lad. I'm in a bit of a hurry." With Alain's help Kadramis quickly donned his armor and made ready to depart. He looked longingly at the pile of hay that he used as a bed.... after a night without sleep, a short nap wouldn't be bad, but he supposed he should find out what his fellow "suspects" were up to and how their investigation progressed. The information from Rechal wasn't much, but it might be useful... He clapped Alain on the shoulder and thanked him for his help, and then went off to try to find the Vulgar Unicorn.
