Legend
My 4th wedding anniversary is coming up this summer.
The Mrs. and me have a little tradition. Every year for our anniversary we go to a Hard Rock cafe.
It all started because we got married down in Gatlinburg, and we went to the Hard Rock there on our honeymoon. Then on our first anniversary I was on active duty in the Army (AIT) and was at Ft. Huachuca in Arizona. The first time we'd got to see each other in months was when I had a four-day pass over the 4th of July weekend, which is pretty close to our anniversary, we ended up in Phoenix eating at the Hard Rock there. After that it kind of became a tradition for us.
Well, now the closest Hard Rock we haven't been to is the one in Indy. Since it's a 3 and a half hour drive from home, we might as well do something else while we're in town.
It's been several years since I have been able to make it to Gen Con, and I didn't exactly go far beyond the convention center and hotel when I was there, but I figured some of my fellow ENWorlders might have recommendations as a city many gamers make a yearly pilgrimage to (and if we are still in town for dinner, you bet we're going to The Ram, I miss that place!).
What cool things are there to see and do in Indianapolis? Art museums, galleries, live music, zoos and aquariums, concerts, comedy acts, those sorts of things?
