Third Party Publishing Schedules

Is there a list of the various d20 books for third party publishers anywhere? I never have any clue what is coming out when and usually only find out a book is out from the ENWorld News Page.

I would be very interested in seeing a list of RPG publishers and expected publication dates of their work. I think it is critical for fan support and I've always felt it a huge hassle to visit multiple websites to find info. Heck, a lot of publishers don't even have an "upcoming" releases link!

So what do you all think?

Y'know, a calendar that was editable by the d20 publishers who frequent these forums would be a heck of an idea... :) If it's doable, we could authorize write access only to actual publishers (PDF or otherwise), so they could update themselves, as well as a link to a press release on their site. Having such a "one-stop" would be of benefit to the community of course, but jsut as much to the publishers as the calendar's popularity grew.

I've seen similar initiatives before (from Drawmack, and others) but getting the majority of publishers on board is a difficult thing.

As it is, one mainly has to skim the publishers forum to get what the upcoming releases are in one place, and it's a bit more hit and miss as less popular publishers get pushed down the forum by the ones with more chatter. (Now, there's a bit of competition there that I like, but too much is a bad thing).

And if Russ already has something like this set up on the boards, and I've plain missed it, then ignore me. :)

This is exactly what I'd love to see. I miss a lot of books because I never hear about them. Everyone hears about WOTC books, but it is difficult, at best, to know what is being produced and when for the other publishers.

I only visit a publisher site if I know something cool is in the works. If I could go to one place and see what is coming out and the expected pub date, then I would be in heaven!

Check out Game Trade Magazine sometime: http://www.gametrademagazine.com

You can learn a lot about future releases from publishers often before they announce the product on their own Web sites.

That would be great, if I wanted to pay money just to find out about products that I want to devote funds too.

ENWorld is a great resource, but they publishers do not use it enough. They really should look into a communal calendar. I would spend more if I could budget ahead of time for books I may want.

We should be coming out with A Magical Society: Beast Builder (hardback, 224pgs $35) and Monster Geographica: Forest (softback, 208 pgs $20) at GenCon.

The calander idea is a very good one, IMHO.

Bastion Press should have Castlemorn, Wildwood and Lore of the Gods out at Gen Con. Arena was just released in pdf on RPGNow this week.

A product release calendar here on ENWorld would be GREAT. Hell, Morrus could even charge publishers for its use, and Adamant Entertainment would be first in line.

I don't pay for it - my FLGS has them laying out so anyone can browse through and take. Ask your FLGS sometime if you can see it.
