Town council’s massacre, round 2 Draig retreats while the halflings hold their ground, hoping to save anyone. The council is a pandemonium: the dwarf sees himself fighting with a man covered in expensive, though blood stained, furs to see who crosses the door first. The dispute is quickly decided by a guard, who aiming for Draig kills the guy instead. Meanwhile, and before Beamer can let his magic the halflings find themselves surrounded with enemies. Only Banion’s armor helps him with one vicious strike, watching Idrag’s flaming sword as he is, and thankfully Beamer’s agility saves him again from harm. However, now even Banion’s agility can save him from two magic darts that fly at him from the wizard, though they deal just minimal damage –nothing as effective as the ones Beamer shot last night- [ooc: Draig withdraws without problem, and reaches the door opposite of where the trouble is. Banion manifests his mindblade, and hits Idrag with a good shot. Bad guys act now. One of them charges both Draig and a rich guy who were both at the door. The man’s bulk protects Draig (rolled 50%, to see which one was attacked) and Draig manages to survive another round. The counsellor killing continues, using close combat weapons and crossbows. If Beamer has any hope of stopping them before they are all dead, he clearly sees it´s a futile attempt: there are too many of them. The captain of the guard and other two men attack Banion and Beamer. They can move around you easily, since you don’t have any weapons drawn and can’t make AoOs. They are however lucky and are not hit (though in Banion’s case was a close call) Banion is hit by magic missiles (7 damage) Beamer is surrounded and there’s not any spot within 5 feet where he can cast without drawing AoOs, so I’ll cut the round here. It’s the turn of you all. Party status: Draig 17 damage, Banion 7. ]
