So there really is no advantage to the DMs scheme for you, unless your campaign features extremely slow leveling.You described your summoner as "Broken" I take it that means you have Greenbond summoning (SP?)? That's the only summoning feat/feature I can recall as ever being described as "overpowered". Perhaps you could drop that in exchange for something like Rapid Summoning (1 STD action vs full round action). Can you describe more fully why you/the DM feel the character is broken. Perhaps there are some other missinterpretations of the rules going on.</blockquote>
