I'm a forever DM of 40 plus years. That being said I thought the 2024 DMG was nice but made more for a beginner which is fine. BUT I find The ToV GMG to provide a lot more useful info across all DM experience levels especially those who have already been DMing. Big fan of what you all did with ToV.

TL;DW the GMG is chock-full of tools for GMs to use, and improvising seems to mean rolling on random-result tables.

Yup. I did a skim read-through impression thread here a month or so ago and came to the same conclusion. GMing regularly for ~15 years.
