This Saturday It Begins

This Saturday is the beginning of the new Doctor with a new Doctor Who season.

I'm looking forward to it.

In the US maybe. I'm surprised no one from the UK has posted about it yet.

I liked it, on multiple levels. I had some doubts about the new Doctor, as those are tough shoes to fill, but I think he'll be great.

His new companion is going to be interesting, and they've written themselves in to something, but no spoilers for now.

So, those of you who saw this last night, what did you think?

I enjoyed it. It actually had some firsts.

For example, did you know the Doctor always leaves the brakes on?

That's why it makes that noise and shakes a lot.

Also I'm really glad he didn't take young Emily with him. That would've made him a kidnapper.

Too much slap stick at the beginning but by the end it was really good.

Crap, I forgot about this and missed it.

Just from the looks of the fella he reminded me of the old Doc who series, and so I was interested. Maybe I can catch it in reruns.
