Message: <blockquote data-quote="Sidran" data-source="post: 342978" data-attributes="member: 6160">Ok here goes.As the group of us working on the Detective's Handbook got to thinking perhaps we could do the majority of the writing ( the Major chapters, Etc.) and then send the bulk of our work to a PDF publisher, or contract to a print Publisher.What are your the Publishers thoughts on this form of RPG publishing. Simply stated we already have an editor, an artist, three to four writers, and two to three game testers, of which one worked on  Mask of the Red Death for Ravenloft 2eWe would be doing both crunchy, and soft bits for the books on varied themes though it looks as though we may focus a little on Detective Fiction/ Pulp/ Noir going from the early 1800's to 1945 in the ideas of the Detective, the Private Eye, and other pulp fiction stuff.  A setting book for our Iconic steampunk world ( Railroads, Safari's, Cruise Liners, Serial Killers, and our very own Great Detective.)It is either we become an R/D press group or we go for the big one and put out our own PDF's for sell</blockquote>
