Message: <blockquote data-quote="Truth Seeker" data-source="post: 4983055" data-attributes="member: 11804">Not related, but yes, I did roleplayed  a 'spell-less' Ranger, that feature has been around for a while. Description of it, first appeared in a Rokugan D20 book, where that the spells slots, became extra feats, but only as per as gain a spell level  (e.g. gaining 1st lvl *getting 1 feat*, gaining 2nd level in spell casting *getting 2nd feat*,) and so on and so on...until all the spell levels are attained. I did not know the current design being put forth, but I can tell you, it was fun to play, and plus the DM did not a liking to 'spell casting' rangters at all. So...it was very interesting and challenging to do it that differently.</blockquote>
