"thread read" status

Hi all,

I'm not seeing "bold" threads turn "unbold" after reading a thread and then re-visiting a forum. Makes me keep thinking someone's posted something new. Distracting.

I have the opposite problem. Often when I get here, the cookie keeping track of the last time I visited immediately refreshes, marking everything read. Highly annoying.

It's not, but I have a theory that I'll have to try next time.

I usually go to the site via this URL: http://enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?f=2

However, when I go to the General RPG page via the menu, it leads to http://enworld.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=7&f=2

I wonder if the added stuff in the URL might confuse the cookies or something.

that happens to me on occasion as well. i suspect it's a cookies issue, since it only happens on the home machine. it's only a real problem if it's been awhile since logins, like if it were to happen today...

As an update, using the URL with the s and daysprune arguments in it seems to work a lot better than the one with just the f. Either that or I've just been lucky so far.
