Threads counted as unread after beig read

Whats up with this?! After I read a thread and then click the link to go back to the forum, the thread appears as unread. I get this every once in a while (like right now) and it drives me barmy.

If the thread didn't load completely, it shows up as unread when you go back to it.

At least for me.

Happens to me too. even with threads I started. Sometimes I have to go into a thread 3 times before it shows as being read.

At the bottom of the main message board page (http://www.enworld.org/forums.php?) is a "mark all forums as read" button. I've been using it a lot lately- I find this new feature of the board annoying as well.

Apropos of nothing, I swear to you that when I first saw this thread, I read the topic as "Threads counted as undead after being read".

It's the only reason I clicked.

Sometimes if you hit "Back" instead of clicking the forum to go back, the board doesn't register that you actually read the page. Or at least, that's what I've seen happen...but its nothing new.
